Aurika, Mumbai (A Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels)

To comply with Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 and an effort towards the group’s sustainability initiative, Lemon Tree Hotel adopted Cleanergy biogas plant at their Aurika Hotels, Mumbai. The site was very challenging as the area available to install biogas plant was very compact and limited at the basement of building. Cleanergy team successfully designed and installed the biogas plant. The plant is designed to process 350kg/day food waste and the biogas produced is supplied to the centralized kitchen.
